With its twin fiddles and pedal steel guitar, the group evokes the older sound of such Louisiana luminaries as Cleveland Crochet and the Hackberry Ramblers and the Creole Zydeco sounds of Boozoo Chavis and John Delafose.

The regular rubboard player, Laura Troiano is the twelve year old daughter of leader and accordion player, Greg "Snakeman" Troiano. She often guest appears with traveling Louisiana Zydeco bands."
